The Forgotten Sunnah

☔ THE FORGOTTEN SUNNAH – STANDING IN THE RAIN ☔ The Forgotten Sunnah – Standing in the rain. It is Sunnah (A practice of the Prophet (pbuh)) to stand in the rain and to expose a portion of your body to it. Its narrated by Imaam Muslim in his authentic compilation from the hadith of Anas, He said: It rained upon us as we were with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) unveiled his garment (from a part of his body) until the rain fell on him. We said: Messenger of Allah, why did you do this? He said: Because it (the rainfall) has just come from the Exalted Lord. And Haakim in his book Al-Mustadrak narrates this hadith with the following words: “When the rain came down from the heavens He (The Prophet May peace be upon him) used to remove his garment from his back until the rain fell on it (his back).” The scholars have taken proof from this hadith that it is Sunnah (recommended) to expose your body and clothing to the falling

Israel develops powerful defensive weapon

Image
A joint US-Israeli missile interceptor meant to counter medium-range missiles has become operational, completing Israel's multi-layer defence system amid tensions on its frontiers with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Syria and the ruling group of the Gaza Strip Hamas. The medium-range interceptor, which became active on Sunday, was developed with US backing and is designed to fill the gap between the longer-range Arrow missile defence system and the shorter-range Iron Dome interceptor. David's Sling was developed by Israeli defence firm Rafael with American defence giant Raytheon. Israel lists several aerial threats, some on its borders and others, such as Iran, far beyond. One is Lebanon's Hezbollah, with which it fought a devastating 2006 war. The Israeli military believes Hezbollah today has between 100,000 and 120,000 short- and medium-range missiles and rockets, as well as several hundred long-range missiles, with the medium-range missiles capable of reaching Tel Aviv.

Turkey arrests 2 suspected ISIS militants

Two men suspected of planning Islamic State group attacks in Europe were arrested in Turkey following a 10-day police operation, Turkey's state-run agency reported Saturday. Mahamad Laban, 45, a Danish citizen, and Mohammed Tefik Saleh, 38, a Swedish citizen, received weapons and explosives training in Syria for the past three months, the Anadolu Agency said. Pictures published by Anadolu show Laban and others in trenches covered with sandbags. In several pictures, Laban is seen wearing camouflage gear and holding a machine gun. Anadolu did not provide details on the arrests but said Saleh's wife had informed Swedish authorities that he had crossed from Turkey to Syria and joined ISIS in 2014, along with his two daughters. The agency says the wife didn't go to Syria and returned to Sweden. The agency said the two men entered Turkey using fake identification with the intention of going to European countries. In January, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said more th
